    Books and Beyond. Books and Beyond READING IS OUT OF THIS WORLD “Books and Beyond” is a reading incentive program sponsored by the Matthew Thornton P.T.A. Its goal is to encourage, reward, and strengthen the practice of reading for pleasure. This year we are returning to log sheets. Our theme is "Reading is Out of this World". Our Beyond The Books Education unit began investigating how school districts across the state use this technique. We requested records from all of Utah’s 41 school districts. We wanted to know.
